Dinner & a Movie on the Square!

Come join us for a special pre-Homecoming event on September 27th! The Main Street Courtyard will be open at a special night and time to serve up a hearty Texas-style cowboy dinner of chili, cornbread, and beans. The chow line will be open from 5 PM to 7 PM. After dinner, we’ll all mosey over to the Vernon Plaza Theater and enjoy a special screening of the classic John Wayne movie, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, at 7:30 PM. An evening out on the square…it’s just like in the Good Old Days!

Tickets for this event are $12 per person and are available at Main Street or the Vernon Plaza. For more information, call Main Street at 552-9200 or swing by the Vernon Plaza during regular business hours (see the post below for showtimes this weekend). But hurry! We are only selling a limited number of tickets for this special evening.

And for those of you who can’t make it out on a Thursday night, but still want to see the movie (and who can blame you?), don’t worry; we’re showing it all through Homecoming weekend! That’s a fact, pilgrim.
